REVERSE LEVER-CAM MECHANISM

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: jaw of a two-jaw lever mounted on the axle inside the housing is used for engaging movable gear clutch parts with fixed ones during a free- running stroke. The other jaw of the lever engages the groove of the cylindrical control cam. The bevels of the teeth are the same. The two arms of the rocking levers are at an acute angle to each other. The ends of the levers are provided with rollers which are in a contact with the driving radial cams secured to the input shaft. The rollers of the double-arm rocking levers can alternatively be in a contact with one or the other side of the driving cam by way of changing the direction of expanding or compression of the buffer spring by the use of the lever for switching forward and reverse stroke of the output shaft.
