FIELD: light industry, particular technology of reconditioning and repair of leather articles, mainly, voluminous surfaces of street clothes. SUBSTANCE: method for repair of leather articles consists in placing contour onto repaired part, cementing this part with adhesive transparent strips, cementing them over the long side with one another to form shaped transparent surface for making template to shape of voluminous section of repaired part. Contour of pattern design is transferred to the surface formed from transparent strips, and, if required, members of decoration of pattern design. Transparent surface is disconnected from repaired part, and template is cut out by the contour of pattern design. Template is applied by tightly pressing it with adhesive side to blank, and pattern is cut out by template contour. Worn-out or cut parts are reconditioned. And if they ruptured or cut, they are sewn together; and if it is rubbing through, it is reconditioned by any known methods. Reconditioned in this manner area is levelled by filling up with thick rubber cement No.88, and after some drying, it is rolled by roller wetted with water to obtain smooth surface (threads are to be sunk in cement layer) or by some other similar material. Pattern is impregnated with adhesive substance from inner side to enhanced plasticity and liability of material to deformation. Besides, adhesive substance is applied to external surface of repaired part of leather article, then, pattern is deformed by template shape and stretched over the part with preservation of its shape, by supporting, for the purpose, of repaired part from inside. Stretching over the part with pattern is completed with smoothing from the outside. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl |
