摘要 PURPOSE:To supply a solvent, by a method wherein a first reciprocal pump is arranged to the suction part of a second reciprocal pump and the sucking time of the first pump is made longer than the emitting time while the second pump is made reverse to smooth a synthetic emitting wave-form. CONSTITUTION:The suction side of a first pump 30 is connected to a suction main pipe 10 and the emitting side thereof is connected to the suction pump 21 of a second pump 40. Therefore, the solvent flowing in the pump 30 from the pipe 10 through a valve 31 is passed through a pipe 21 while controlled by a valve 32 to flow in the pump 40. The emitting side of the pump 40 is connected to a pipe 11 an an emitting wave form is smoothed by the synthesis of the operations of both pumps 30, 40 and the solvent is guided to a separation column 12 and separated to be detected by a detector 13. The suction angle of the pump. 40 is 180 deg. or more and the remainder is an emitting angle while the emitting angle of the pump 40 is 180 deg. or more. At the emission time of the pump 30, the pump 40 sucks about 70% of the solvent and sends about 30% of the remainder to the separation column. At the sucking time of the pump 30, the pump 40 sends the solvent to the separation column and, when both pumps 40, 30 perform sucking operation, only the difference is emitted. By this constitution, the solvent can be stably supplied and a chromatograph good in reproducibility is obtained.
