PURPOSE:To enhance compression strength by combining a unidirectional prepreg composed of a pitch type carbon fiber showing specific values in tensile modulus, tensile strength and compression strength and a unidirectional prepreg composed of a carbon fiber with a relatively small diameter showing different characteristics to laminate both of them. CONSTITUTION:A carbon fiber reinforced resin composite material (CFRP) suitable for spots, a field of leisure or an aeronautic and space structure contains a unidirectional prepreg 2 composed of a pitch type carbon fiber A wherein tensile modulus is 400GPa or more, tensile strength is 2000MPa or more and the compression strength of a unidirectional reinforced composite material is 100-800MPa and has a unidirectional prepreg 1 composed of a carbon fiber higher than the pitch type carbon fiber A in the compression strength and compression breaking strain of the unidirectional reinforced composite material and having a diameter smaller than that of the carbon fiber A. A predetermined number of prepregs 1, 2 are combined to be laminated at a predetermined angle of orientation and the obtained laminate is molded under heating and pressure by an autoclave or a hot press. |
