FIELD: plastic metal working in different branches of machine engineering for making axially symmetrical products such as gear wheels, wheels, discs and so on. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making semifinished product having relief on its one side by combined upwetting, flange drawing and sizing with use of the same die set and subsequent shaping of semifinished product to ready article; at shaping using semifinished product having dimensions determined according to relations given in description of the invention and relief at its side turned to die. Said semifinished product is subjected to deforming in final-transition die set at the same side as at previous transition. Upsetting of blank during first transition is performed at double-side centering of blank in shaping tool. EFFECT: lowered deformation effort, enhanced quality of articles, increased strength of tool, significantly enlarged range of products to be made, lowered consumption of material. |
