DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF SHIPBOARD GAS-TURBINE ENGINE

FIELD: manufacture of engines. SUBSTANCE: drain reservoir of engine consists of two parts: clean fuel drain reservoir and main drain reservoir interconnected by means of bypass pipe line fitted with valve. System is also provided with jet pump connected with clean fuel drain reservoir by means of pipe line through valve. Jet pump operates due to fuel pressure differential in suction and delivery pipe line of fuel feed pump of gas-turbine engine. Jet pump returns clean drainage fuel in clean fuel drain reservoir into field supply system of gas-turbine engine; jet pump also delivers clean drainage fuel from main drain reservoir through bypass piping laid between reservoirs. EFFECT: reduction of fuel losses during operation of engine; avoidance of fire risk in flow section of gas-turbine engine due to overfilling of drain reservoir; high ecological safety of engine.
