摘要 FIELD: electrical engineering, chemical sources of electric energy. SUBSTANCE: invention may find use for testing of technical state of storage batteries. Essence of invention lies in increase of accuracy and acceleration of process of determination of state of charge of storage battery due to exclusion of influence of polarization on measurement result and with allowance for influence of electrolyte temperature on equilibrium emf of storage battery and dependence of equilibrium emf of completely discharge storage battery on design parameters. In compliance with proposed method equilibrium emf is measured on two electrodes additionally brought into electrolyte together with temperature transducer. Electrolyte temperature is measured and value of equilibrium emf is corrected depending on electrolyte temperature. Tests demonstrated that maximum error in determination of state of change of storage battery by proposed method does not exceed 2.5% and time of determination amounts to 0.5-1.0 min with due account of preparatory operations. EFFECT: increased accuracy and acceleration of process of determination of state of charge of storage battery.
