摘要 FIELD: chemical technology, polymers. SUBSTANCE: isobutylene polymerization is carried out in toluene at temperature from -10 to +90 C by the successive addition of isobutylene (10-60 wt.-%), titanium tetrachloride (0.05-1.0 mole) per 100 mg monomer and its keeping for at least 2 min followed by addition of triisobutylaluminium at mole ratio titanium : aluminium from 100 to 0.5. Synthesized low-molecular polyisobutylene is used as addition agent to mineral or organic oils, for production of sealing agents, glues, perfumes and many others aims. EFFECT: enhanced quality of product.
