FIELD: pyrotechnic systems of various assignment, including artillery weapons. SUBSTANCE: barrel of pyrotechnic system incorporates tube 1, breech 2 with chamber 3, device for insertion of change 4 and breech block 5. Chamber 3 located in breech 2 is manufactured in the form of shortened cylinder with flats on both butts from diameter of chamber to diameter of conduit. Length of chamber is approximately half as large as its diameter and diameter is approximately twice as large as diameter of tube passage. Unit for insertion of charge 4 is placed on top of breech 2 in front part of chamber 3 and is inclined relative to its longitudinal axis towards tube 1. Larger capacity of chamber is provided by its dimensions and high loading density - by shape if chamber 3, shape and position of unit for insertion if change 4 which provide for voidless filling of volume of chamber with all elevation angle of barrel. Invention is intended for creation of conditions for automatization of process of metering of changes of grained ponder in pyrotechnic systems which barrels during functioning are in inclined positions within angle range 0-50 deg with reference to horizon which change has substantial mass and high loading density.
