FIELD: mechanization and intensified compacting and unloading friable and caked materials from grain and cement carrying hopper cars. SUBSTANCE: device has casing 1 made in the form of a platform having, for instance, rhomboid shape. Immovable jaws 2 are installed on vertical diagonal. Movable jaws 3 with pressing against unit are installed on horizontal diagonal. Vibrating exciter 4 the lengthwise axis of witch is in register with vertical diagonal and crosswise axis of which is in register with horizontal diagonal, is secured rigidly to platform 1. Unit of pressing against jaw 3 contains a nut connected to platform 1, and screw installed on it. Thrust of the nut is kinematically linked to jaw 3 made in the form of a thrust. Tail is provided with handle 7 and has parallel faces. Stopper provided with a slot and coupled to platform 1 thought a spring interacts to the faces in operating position. A hook for hanging the device from load-lifting member is placed in upper portion of platform 1. With vibrating exciter in operation, the forced oscillations are transmitted concurrently through platform 1, immovable jaws 3 to walls of two hoppers of the car and then directly to the material, which becomes flowing, compacted or discharged from the car.
