PURPOSE: To provide a printer capable of being reduced in size by a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: This printer comprises a plate cylinder support means 152 provided at a printer body 1 side to movably support a plate cylinder 2, and a plate cylinder unit 150 capable of rotatably supporting the cylinder 2, being engaged with a handle 153C at the means 152 and provided with a tiltable grip 153 at the engaging region with the means 152. Thus, since the grip 153 is folded when the cylinder 2 is moved to the print position in a stencil printer 1, the gap between the surface of the cylinder 2 and the grip 153 is reduced as compared with that when the grip 153 is fixed to be able to decrease the size of the printer 1 in the height direction. |
