PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treatment method of ectopic atrial tachycardia by ablating or mapping predetermined locations within the right atrium of the heart by use of an ablation catheter and a precurved guiding introducer. SOLUTION: A guiding introducer for introducing a catheter to a predetermined location within the right atrium of the heart comprises an elongated first area having a length from the insertion point to the heart, a curved second area having an interior angle of about 130-180 degrees, and a third area consisting of an almost straight portion and a curved portion. The length of the straight portion of the third area is about 1.3-5.1 cm, while the curved portion has an interior angle of about 50-130 degrees and a total length of about 0.51-2.54 cm.
