摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a full color highly detailed back printing type ink jet image receiving material having good ink absorbability and forming an image enhanced in resolving power and extremely good in water resistance by controlling a printing dot diameter corresponding to the resolving power of a printer. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet image receiving material wherein at least a porous ink absorbing layer consisting of a polymer having a quaternary ammonium base and pigment particles with a refractive index of 1.7 or less is provided on a transparent support, the ink absorbing layer contains a fluoroplastic, silicone resin or alkylketene dimer type water repellent or sizing agent.
