PURPOSE: To reduce a pitch angle of a cab of a vehicle so as to keep the cab from being displaced backward during start or being displaced forward during braking by closing an air feed/exhaust control switching means when the vehicle is started and when the vehicle is braked. CONSTITUTION: Air springs 12A, 12B, 13A, 13B provided between a cab 10 and frame 11 of a vehicle are communicated with an air reservoir tank 14 by a passage in which leveling valves 16A, 16B and cut valves 17A, 17B are mounted, the cut valves 17A, 17B being controlled by a control unit 18 to open and close; i.e., when a stop lamp detecting switch 22 is turned on, the cut valves 17A, 17B are closed; a predetermined time after the switch 22 has been turned off and the absolute value of vehicle speed has dropped to or below a predetermined vehicle speed, the cut valves 17A, 17B are opened. After the vehicle is stopped, the cut valves 17A, 17B are held in their closed state until a predetermined time is determined to have elapsed; when the predetermined time is determined to have elapsed, the cut valves 17A, 17B are opened. |
