<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the subject ink mixed with a specific amount of 1,3- dimethyl-2-imidazoline, being excellently written under a low-temperature to a high-temperature environment smoothly and darkly written. CONSTITUTION: This oily ink for a ball-point pen is obtained by blending at least (A) preferably 30-70wt.% of an organic solvent such as ethylene glycol monophenyl ether or benzyl alcohol with (B) preferably 10-45wt.% of a colorant composed of a dye, a pigment and a dispersion pigment, (C) a resin such as a ketone resin or a rosin resin, (D) preferably 5-30wt.% of 1,3-dimethyl-2- imidazoline and optionally an antioxidant, an ultraviolet light absorber, a rust preventive and a surfactant.</p> |
