PURPOSE: To obtain a safe preparation containing active protein C and/or protein C as active ingredients, having an action for inhibiting the absorption of bone, effective for malignant hypercalemia caused by osteoporosis, myeloma or lymphoma, etc., and little in side-effects. CONSTITUTION: This absorption disease-preventing and treating preparation contains active protein C (APC) and/or protein C (PC) as active ingredients. The PC includes a PC produced from human plasma. The activation of the PC is performed e.g. by a method using a thrombin, a method using apoisonous snake, etc. The objective preparation is prepared in the form of a lyophilization product, an injection medicine such as an aqueous medicine for injection, etc. The preparation is preferably administered at a daily dose of 10-1000μg/kg in terms of the amount of the APC and/or PC protein. The preparation can continuously be administered by sealing in an imbedding preparation, an osmotic pressure pump, etc., and subsequently retaining in a living body.
