METHOD FOR MOLDING RESIN-COATED SPINDLE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for molding a resin-coated spindle whose metal mandrel is coated with a resin uniformly and entirely and is excellent in corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A metal mandrel 10 is supported in a mold 1 by placed cores 2 and 3 which are inserted in the mold. In between the mold face of the mold 1 and the metal mandrel 10, a clearance in which a coating resin 18 is to be injected is formed. The resin is injected into the clearance. At least a lower end 15 of the metal mandrel 10 is supported in contact with an end 8 of a support axis to be energized movably back and forth in the axial direction and to be supported in a cylindrical main body 4 of the placed core 3. The resin 18 is injected into the clearance, the support axis 6 is moved backward by the pressure of the resin 18, and a space generated in between the end 8 of the support axis 6 and the lower end 15 of the metal mandrel 10 is also filled with the resin 18.
