PURPOSE: To enable a variety of travel data related to speed changes during travel on time and distance bases to be checked after travel is finished by providing a microcomputer which calculates the travel data on receiving the input of a pulse signal from a wheel speed sensor and a storage means for storing the travel data. CONSTITUTION: A magnet base 5 attached to a wheel spoke 6 of a bicycle crosses a wheel speed sensor 4 as the wheel rotates, thereby causing the wheel speed sensor 4 to output a pulse signal that corresponds to the rotation of the wheel, the pulse signal being subsequently input to a bicycle travel data storage device 2 and a speedometer 1 which are mounted on the handle of the bicycle. In the bicycle travel data storage device 2, the distance traveled and the travel speed are calculated on the basis of the travel time and the pulse signal, and these data are stored one after another. At the speedometer 1, the distance traveled and the travel speed are calculated based on the pulse signal, and these data are displayed on a liquid-crystal display panel. |
