PURPOSE: To obtain a molded article which is excellent in water resistance and clarity and does not discolor in brown by compounding a resin compsn. comprising an unsatd. polyester (A), a copolymerizable monomer (B), an unsatd. alcohol (C), and a styrene-maleic anhydride compolymer (D) with an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION: The component A is obtd. by reacting a dihydric alcohol component essentially contg. a hydrogenated bisphenol A with anα,β-ethylenically unsatd. dibasic acid. An example of the component B is methyl methacrylate. The component C is an alcohol copolymerizable with the components A and B, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate being an example. And, the component D used is obtd. from styrene and maleic anhydride in a molar ratio of (3/1)-(7/1) by a known polymn. method and has a number average mol.wt. lower than 5,000. The compounding ratios by wt. of C/B, A/(B+C), and D/(A+B+C) are (1/99)-(50/50), (30/70)-(70/30), and (10/90)-(40/60), respectively.
