PURPOSE: To obtain a metal processing oil stock soln. compsn. which is excellent in lubricity and capability of dispersing a metal powder produced by wearing and is not acompanied by excessive foaming by compounding a base oil with a satd. fatty acid monoester of polyethylene glycol, an unsatd. fatty acid monoester of polyethylene glycol, a fatty acid, and a sarcoside each in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION: A base oil comprising at least one oil selected from among a mineral oil, a synthetic oil, and a fatty oil is compounded with 2-40 mass % (based on the resulting compsn.; and the same applies hereunder) satd. fatty acid monoester of polyethylene glycol represented by formula I (wherein R<1> is a 7-17C alkyl group; and m is 2-25) (A), 2-40 mass % unsatd. fatty acid monoester of polyethylene glycol represented by formula II (wherein R<2> is a 7-23C alkenyl group; and n is 2-25) (B), 0.4-8 mass % 8-24C fatty acid (C), and 0.4-8 mass % sarcoside represented by formula III (wherein R<3> is a 8-24C alkyl or alkenyl group) (D) under the condition that the following relations are satisfied: a1 /b1 is 0.2-5; a1 +b1 is 5-60; c1 /d1 is 0.2-5; and c1 +d1 is 1-10 [wherein, a1 , b1 , c1 , and1 are the amts. (mass %) of ingredients A, B, C, and D, respectively]. |
