PURPOSE: To lower as far as possible the depressurization-possible-pressure with regard to the wheel cylinder pressure by providing a discharge adjusting means, which decreases the discharge of a brake fluid from a pump, when the pressure intensifying control is unnecessary to any wheel cylinder which is to be controlled by an antiskid controlling means. CONSTITUTION: In antiskid control, the slipping condition of a wheel is controlled to an optimum condition. Especially in a low-μ(-value)-road like on the ice, the wheel cylinder pressure should be made as low as possible. Here, the depressurization-possible-pressure is obtained by adding the pulsating pressure of a pump discharge to the back pressure of reservoirs 25, 26. By turning a motor OFF in order to stop (bring the discharge to 'zero') the discharge of the brake fluid from pumps 9, 10, the pressure equal to the pulsating pressure due to the pump discharge can be lowered. As a result, the depressurization- possible-pressure can be lowered. Accordingly, this is advantageous for the pressurization control when a car runs on the low-μ(-value)-road.
