PURPOSE: To obtain a substance containing the powder of washed and sterilized egg shell and capable of strengthening the immunological forces of men, animals, etc., to prevent the infection of pathogenic microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: This substance for activating immunity and preventing infection contains the powder of washed and sterilized egg shell. The objective substance may be administered singly or after mixed with a feed or food. The substance is preferably administered at a daily dose of 100mg/kg of the body weight on the administration to a livestock. When the substance is compounded with a feed and subsequently constantly fed, the substance is preferably administered at a dose of <1mg per kg of the body weight. The eggs of chicken, duck and quail are preferable for this purpose. |
