PURPOSE: To provide a bathtub capable of easily sealing hot water without taking the housing space of a door in the bathtub provided with the door capable of making an aged person and a physically handicapped person bathe safely. CONSTITUTION: A U-shaped opening part 14 opened upwards is provided on the side wall 13 of this bathtub 10, guiding grooves are provided on the left and right sides of the opening part 14 and the base part of a hollow flexible body 15 is attached to the lower side of the opening part 14. Then, the left and right ends of the flexible body 15 are fitted to the left and right guiding grooves and a pump means for blowing fluid to the flexible body 15 and extending the flexible body 15 upwards is connected. |
