<p>PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and economical deodorizer capable of controlling the deodorant to the water content just right to permeate air in the deodorizer using soil, etc., as the deodorant and adsorbing a malodorous component on the soil, etc., for deodorization. CONSTITUTION: This deodorizer consists of a deodorization vessel 1 with a gas inlet 10 formed in a closed top wall 8, perforated plates 11a and 11b to vertically divide the inside of the vessel 1 in plural stages and the beds 12a and 12b of a deodorant consisting of soil or bark formed on the perforated plates. Further, air layers 13a, 13b and 13c are formed respectively between the beds 12a and 12b, between the uppermost bed and top wall and between the lowermost bed and bottom wall, and a gas discharge passage 14 is furnished and is made to communicate with the lowermost air layer 13c. A malodorous gas introduced from the inlet 10 is passed downward through the beds 12a and 12b, hence the excess moisture is removed, the gas is deodorized, and the deodorized gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the passage 14.</p> |
