<p>PURPOSE: To decrease dragging torque, and to improve attacking performance to an idling rotor without increasing the number of parts by performing preventing of slipping off of a pin and pressing of pads of an inner pad and an outer pad by means of a single pad spring. CONSTITUTION: A pad spring 30 presses and energizes pads 18, 22 to a perforated pin 26 while preventing the perforated pin 26 from slipping off from a caliper 10 and can forcibly return and move pads 18, 22 to the non braking position so that they may be separated from a rotor when it is moved from the braking state to the non braking state. Since a pad returning mechanism in a disc brake in which the inner pad 18 and the outer pad 22 are attached to the perforated pin 26 is achieved by the pad spring 30 formed of a single spring wire, generation of dragging torque is prevented, and attacking performance to an idling rotor can be improved.</p> |
