The invention concerns one-sided adhesive sealing tape. The tape consists of a carrier material which on one side is coated with a thin layer of plastics and on the other is provided with an adhesive layer. The adhesive tape is suitable in particular for bonding vapour barriers, vapour seals and draughtproofing devices, and is characterized by its tightness with respect to draughts, its ability to permit diffusion (limited permeability to vapour) and rapid processability without the use of tools.
