Evaluation of physical state represented by an image

The apparatus includes a slide rule with a flat plate (1) which has two windows (2a,2b). The two windows are at opposite ends of the plate and are parallel to each other, lying transversely to the direction of the slides (3). Each slide has on one side a series of pre-recorded images(7) and on the other side a series of number values corresponding to each image. The images and numbers are positioned so corresponding pairs appear in the two windows. The images on each of the eight slides are selected to correspond to the development of each of the eight bones in the wrist, and the numbers appearing in the other window added to read the age from a pre-established scale.
