<p>Rotating counter current mineral washing barrel incorporating means for the removal and separation of driftwood from the mineral by providing a spiral scoop shaped at the waste water exit, fitted to the end wall which scoops the wood out of the water into the perforated funnel shaped exit and perforated water outlet in which the waste water is removed by running through the perforations whilst the oversize wood is moved away from the drum to a separate discharge point by the action of a spiral welded to the inner surface of the exit mouth. The feed into the drum is introduced slightly away from the wall of the drum to allow working space for the wood removing scoop.</p> |
