The closure is for a container for fluid. The spring section is a U-shaped or a V-shaped shank spring (4) which can be inserted into specially provided holders (11,12) on the under part (1) and the cover (2). The under part and the cover are formed as one piece and are joined to each other by a film hinge (3). The holders are arranged near the swivel axis. The shank spring is unstressed in the closed position of the cover or in the fully open position of the cover.
