Packaging machine using foil strip

The packaging machine has a foil strip delivered from a roller as well as devices to create the packaging on this foil strip. A device is located between the roller (30) and the packaging devices, which consists essentially of two components. The first component (1) has a cutting device (11) for the first foil strip in the machine, and the second component (2) is for the beginning of a second foil strip (35), which is fed from a second roller (34). The second part has a fixture device (21,22) for the second foil strip, and a drive mechanism (50) to press the start of the second strip against the end of the first strip, thereby connecting the two strips together.
