Peristaltic pump for medical applications

The pump has a feed hose (1) passed around a roller wheel (3), with measurement of the pressure and volume of the pumped flow, for controlling the feed characteristics of the pump via an evaluation and control device. A measuring housing (5) is inserted in the feed hose after the roller wheel, with a measuring jet (4) reducing the fluid flow cross-section and pressure sensors (6,7) on either side of the measuring jet, coupled to the evaluation and control device for determining the flow volume from the detected pressure difference.
