<p>A fuel cell arrangement has a plurality of fuel cells (1) arranged in a stack (2). At the anode side a fuel gas flows through the fuel cells (1) from a fuel gas inlet chamber (20) to a fuel gas outlet chamber (21), and at the cathode side a cathode gas flows through the fuel cells (1) from a cathode gas inlet chamber (22) to a cathode gas outlet chamber (23). The fuel cell stack (2) is surrounded by a gas-tight sheath (3, 4, 5) and is supported against the top and bottom of the sheath (3, 4, 5). Devices (6, 7, 8) for mutually sealing the inlet and outlet chambers (20-23) are provided between the sheath (3, 4, 5) and the fuel cell stack (2). The sealing devices (6, 7, 8) compensate for thermal expansion differences betweeen the fuel cell stack (2) and the sheath (3, 4, 5).</p> |
