Mfr. of gearbox parts from high-molecular plastic

Selector forks, shifting claws, shift levers etc., forming parts of gearboxes are mfd. from a high-molecular cross-linked plastic. The plastic pref. comes from the family of thermoplastics and. pref. thermoplastics are polyethylene ketones and polyamides. Partic. pref. polyamide is mfd. from epsilon caprolactam. The plastic may be glass fibre-reinforced and the parts are pref. mfd. by injection moulding.
