The plug socket (10) retains a plug-in section (12) formed by the pipeline end with cylindrical outer surface. When plugged in, the section is sealed and secured against pulling-out by a holder (4) with peripherally distributed clamps (16) in a support ring (14). The plug-in section arresting is safeguarded by coacting with tapering, inner, conical faces of the housing part (2), forcing the clamps radially inwards. The outer periphery of the plug-in section has an annular groove (28) for engagement by clamps.
