Door-stop and method of its manufacture

The stop arrangement consists of a housing in which clamping rollers, one of which is spring loaded, are mounted. A metal strip (16) which is attached to the door moves between and is clamped by the rollers. The strip has indented sections with which one of the rollers can engage. The strip is manufactured by stamping it out of sheet metal. The stamped out part has two sections (17) which extend sideways. The end of the strip, with the protruding sections, is twisted round so that these sections lie in line with the plane of the strip. The sections act as stop when they engage with the edges of the housing (11) at the end of the travel of the strip.
