Conveyor system for sorting irregularly arriving packages

Sorting system in which the isolating device consists of a semi-circular 180 deg. belt curve (10) into which the first conveyor (25) for feeding unsorted packages (70) opens. The second conveyor (35) for the removal of sorted packages adjoins the curve on the output side. A curve (50) returns packages not immediately sorted back to the belt curve conveyor and is provided adjacent to the conveyor. The return curve has a conveyor belt (52) rotating in the same direction as the first curve.
