Animal trap for rodents

The trap (1) comprises of a tube with an edged or hollow profile. The tube can be fabricated from metal, moulded plastics, or ceramics. A deposit of rat poison is stored within the tube in a horizontal elastic netlike woven sack (2). The woven cloth allows for the removal of a dead rodent from the trap with out damaging the bait sack. The trap may also have a locking pin (3). The pin penetrates from the upper surface of the tube traversley through the tube, out of the invert, and into the ground beneath the tube. The locking pin prevents the trap from rolling around.
