The head face is provided with a wear-resistant layer (31) having a maximum thickness of 60 nm for forming a contact face (33). To improve the wear resistance, a bundle of ions is directed onto the wear-resistant layer, while ions are implanted in the wear-resistant layer until an implantation dose of between 1010 ions/cm?2 and 1014¿ ions/cm2 is reached.</p> |
