<p>The invention refers to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a Lactobacillus plantarum strain having the ability to colonize human intestinal mucosa in vivo, in combination with arginine and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The composition can be used for curative and/or prophylactic treatment of liver injury and failure and associated bacterial translocation in mammals inclusive man.</p> |
