Encapsulated toner useful e.g. in electrophotography

摘要

Encapsulated toner for fixing by heat and pressure has a heat-fusible core material contg. thermoplastic resin and colourant and a shell of hydrophilic resin covering the core. The core material contains a silicone oil (I) with a kinematic viscosity of 10-500 cSt at 25 deg C and the toner is obtd. by in-situ polymerisation. Also claimed is a method of producing the toner.
