The ampoules (34, 36) are so arranged that they can be crushed through activation via the container wall, so that the cold medium is released and flows out into the circuit. The ampoules are arranged so that they can be crushed through deformation of the wall. They are fitted in a compartment in the container wall so that the cold medium, when they are crushed, must pass through the drying device (18) in order to reach the circuit (10). The cold medium circuit is within a domestic refrigerator, and comprises a compressor (12), a condenser (14), a container (16) with a drying device (18) absorbing the water in the circuit, a capillary tube (20) and an evaporator (22). The container has a cylindrical wall of e.g. copper and has the drying device enclosed between upper and lower perforated end walls (26, 28), allowing passage only to the cold medium. |
