PURPOSE: To provide a cash card settlement system which is available to any person who owns a cash card by securing previously correspondence between the cash card owner codes issued by banks and the member codes of a prescribed group. CONSTITUTION: The information recorded on the employee and bank cards are read at a card reading part 11 of a POS terminal 1. If a bank card is decided, this card number is converted into an ID(identification) number given to an employee of a company that applies a cash card settlement system. The operation of this conversion is carried out based on the information stored in a card/ID number table 3. If an employee number is decided, the employee code (ID number) of the employee card is identified. Then the identified ID number is sent to a settlement processing part 5 together with the information on the purchase amount of money, the commodities, the POS terminal number, etc. |
