A method for manufacturing a yarn consisting of at least two threads wound around each other, containing fibres of a length which is shorter than or equal to 60 mm, which fibres either belong to the polyolefin group or are a physical and/or chemical mixture containing at least one component of this group, in which method the threads are manufactured by conveying respective fibre bundles (1), (2), simultaneously and separate from each other, through a feed-through or drafting device (5), (6), (7) and subsequently twisting and copping each fibre bundle in the same operation, so that they are wound around each other. <IMAGE> |
