PURPOSE: To obtain a cellulose-based fiber fabric having soft touch feeling, rich in durability and having functionality by subjecting a cellulose-based fiber fabric to swelling treatment, providing various kind of functionality-providing agents to the fabric and treating the fabric in vapor phase containing a cellulose crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION: A cotton fabric using No.80 count two ply yarn is subjected to swelling treatment using an aqueous solution of caustic soda and treated with arbitrary processing agents among various agents for imparting water repellency, antifouling property, antistatic property and antimicrobial property. Then, the woven fabric is subjected to crosslinking treatment in vapor or mist of a cellulose crosslinking agent such as paraformaldehyde or formalin to impart functionality rich in durability. |
