PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device and improve the safety by providing such a constitution that the path of the light passing a translucent object consisting of a spherical body is deflected, when the light transmitting matter is moved, to interrupt the incident light, thereby detecting a slant/vibration. CONSTITUTION: A sensor body 400 is formed of a body 410 and a cover 420, a translucent object 200 consisting of a spherical body of a translucent material such as glass or acryl is built in a recessed part 411, and a light emitting element 100 consisting of a light emitting diode and a light receiving element 300 consisting of a photodiode are provided in mutually opposed position through through-holes 423, 412 on the cover 420 and the body 410, respectively. The bottom part 411A of the recessed part 411 is formed into a conical inclined surface 411A having a prescribed angleαto horizontality. When the sensor is situated in a normal attitude position, the translucent object 200 is situated in the center of the inclined surface 411A, and the light L from the light emitting element 100 is passed through the center of the translucent object 200 and incident to the light receiving element 300.
