PURPOSE: To omit intermediate polishing man-hour for finishing a face to a barrel face or taper-like face by making a face to be the external peripheral side of a ring out of the faces of a wire a middle high form and making non- orthogonal to the center face which is separated the same distance from two faces which are the main end faces of the ring. CONSTITUTION: The chamfered or arc-like sections of both ends of a face (a) to be the external periphery of the ring of a wire 1, when naturally extended, intersect the extended lines of two faces (b) and (c) at points (d) and (e), and the points (d) and (e) are linked by a straight line (f), and a center face (g), which is positioned at the same distance from the two faces (b) and (c), is imagined. A middle high state refers to such a state that the face (a) to be an external periphery swells out outward from the body more than the straight line (f), and the volume is expressed by a maximum dimensionα. Non- orthogonal means that the straight line (Q) is non-orthogonal to the center face (g), and the angle between the straight line (f) and the center face (g) is expressed by bias angleθfrom the right angle. By manufacturing a pressure ring using this long wire 1, intermediate polishing process for finishing it into a barrel face can be omitted.
