<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate troubles caused by heat stress in an electronic cooler. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is provided with an electronic cooler 1 comprising a thermoelectric element, a cooling body 2 contacting a cooling surface of the electronic cooler 1, a heat radiation body 3 contacting a heat radiating surface of the electronic cooler 1 and an air fan 4 to blow air to an air passage where the cooling body and the heat radiation body are both arranged. A temperature detection means is also provided to detect the temperature of the cooling body 2 and a control means to switch the direction of blowing with the air fan 4 between the direction of the heat radiating body 3 from the cooling body 2 and the direction of the cooling body 2 from the heat radiation body 3. When the temperature of the surface of the cooling body 2 falls down to a specified temperature, the direction of blowing is reversed to warm the cooling body 2 by heat with the heat radiation body 3 thereby prevent ing freezing.</p> |
