摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain the subject protein for producing antibody and antigen for diagnosis, etc., of infection of Chlamydia pneumoniae by binding a dihyrofolic acid reductase having a specific amino acid sequence and an antigen peptide of Chlamydia pneumoniae. CONSTITUTION: This fused protein of dihydrofolic acid reductase-antigen polypeptide of Chlamydia pneumoniae comprises binding a polypeptide B containing contained at least five amino acid sequences into a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence expressed by formula II directly or through amino acid sequence expressed by formula I. The fused protein is useful for production, etc., of anti-Chlamydia pneumoniae antibody and antigen polpypeptides, etc., effectively utilized for producing a diagnostics for Chlamydia pneumoniae infectious diseases. The fused protein is obtained by binding DNA coding for dihydrofolic acid reductase to DNA coding for antigen polypeptide of Chlamydia pneumoniae and expressing the bound DNA in a host.
