PURPOSE: To provide an electrode having high volumetric and weight energy density to improve adhesion of a collector to a conductive high monomer active material, by using aluminum electrolytic foil with a large surface area to have a specific electrostatic capacity as the collector, in the electrode for a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: In an electrode for a battery comprising an electrode active material layer and a collector, aluminum electrolytic foil with the surface roughness 50μF/cm<2> or more electrostatic capacity is used as the collector. In the electrode active material layer, at least one kind of granular inorganic active material is uniformly dispersed preferably in a conductive high polymer matrix of showing oxidation reduction electrochemically in at least one kind. Ratio of this soluble conductive high polymer matrix is preferably 10% or less relating to total weight of an electrode active material. A high polymer solid electrolyte with a cross-linked high polymer serving as the matrix is used as the electrolyte. At least an annular carbonate and chain carbonate are preferably contained in this solid electrolyte. |
