摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetically and chemically stable magnetic iron oxide powder containing ferrous oxide comprising fine particles having high coercive force. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic iron oxide powder comprises magnetic iron oxide particles containing ferrous oxide having long axial diameter of 0.3μm or less coated with double layers, i.e., a lower layer of Zn compound and an upper layer of Si compound.
